Offense

 QB Nicco Stepina, So., Millikin

Stepina threw for six touchdowns with zero interceptions as Millikin defeated Augustana 43-35. He completed 21 of 31 passes for 344 yards in a little over three quarters of action before coming out with the Big Blue leading 43-13. 

OL Yaqoob Ahmad, Kyle Pepper, Josh Brunk, Cole Tanner, Cal Smith, Central

Central rolled up 587 yards of total offense, its sixth 500-yard game in seven outings this season. The Dutch line kept three quarterbacks from being sacked in a total of 45 passing attempts.

RB Dallas Parent
Sr., La Verne

Parent tallied a staggering 298 yards on 28 carries while scoring four touchdowns in a 57-56 win over Occidental. He took the game's first play from scrimmage to the house for a 75-yard touchdown and scored twice each half.

RB Nick Savant
Jr., Muhlenberg

Savant recorded 100 yards rushing and receiving, scoring three touchdowns in a 43-7 win against Gettysburg. He rushed 28 times for 114 yards - his fifth consecutive 100-yard game - and a 4-yard score while catching seven passes for 145 yards and a pair of 42-yard touchdowns.

WR Jesse Zubik 
Jr., W&J

Zubik set a career high in receiving yards for the third straight week as he corralled seven passes for 235 yards and two scores, including the game-winning 57-yarder in the fourth quarter, as W&J topped Bethany 37-36. He also scored on a 72-yard catch-and-run on the second play of the third quarter.

WR Darius Adams
Jr., Coast Guard

Adams had eight receptions for 213 yards and tied a school record with three touchdown receptions in a 56-54 win over Curry. He also tied the single-season school record with nine touchdown receptions.

HB Kyle Gritsch
Jr., Central

Gritsch scored the team's first two touchdowns of the game, catching six passes for 62 yards as the Dutch defeated Nebraska Wesleyan 43-17.

Defense

DE Justin Broussard
Sr., Southwestern

Broussard set an SCAC record with 5.5 sacks in Southwestern's 48-0 victory at Trinity (Texas). Broussard posted nine tackles in the game and a pair of quarterback hurries, while his 5.5 sacks amassed to 36 yards. He also added one pass breakup in the victory. Trinity was shut out for the first time since 1994.

DT Austin Dean
So., Brockport

Dean registered 4.5 sacks on the day, including two during Ithaca's final drive of the first half. The sacks combined for a loss of 31 yards. He recorded seven tackles, helping Brockport hold the Bombers to minus-11 rushing yards.

DT Haston Adams
Jr., Mary Hardin-Baylor

Haston had five tackles, a sack and a half, a pass breakup and a hurry as UMHB held the high-powered ETBU offense well below its averages. But his biggest highlight came when he rumbled 50 yards with a fumble recovery for a TD to give UMHB a 52-14 lead. It was his second fumble return for a score this season, both vs. ranked opponents.

DE Billy Douds
Jr., North Central

Douds had five tackles, all solo, four of them for loss and three sacks in the Cardinals' 35-25 win over archrival Wheaton. Douds had another would-be half-sack negated by a Wheaton holding penalty.

 

LB Emory Cuzze
So., Texas Lutheran

Cuzze made the game-saving interception in the Bulldogs' 17-13 road win over Austin College, picking off Cooper Woodyard with 30 seconds to play. Cuzze finished the day with nine total tackles, a sack of eight yards, one and a half tackles for loss, the interception and a quarterback hurry.

LB Jake Diviney
Sr., Juniata

Diviney led the Eagles in tackles with nine. He had one and a half sacks for a loss of 14 yards and two and a half tackles for loss in Juniata's 38-27 victory over Ursinus.

LB Marcus Bowers
So., Wooster

Bowers recorded a career-best 17 tackles, seven solo, during Wooster's win over Oberlin. Had a touchdown-saving tackle at the 1-yard line in the first quarter, helping force Oberlin into a field goal. He also stuffed Oberlin short of the goal line in the third quarter, a play before the Yeomen coughed it up on the goal line.

LB Kenny Kern
Fr., Mass. Maritime

Kern registered a career-high 15 total tackles, including 11 solo stops, and three sacks for losses of 17 yards in Buccaneers' 24-21 victory over Westfield State.

 

CB Torii Hilbert
Fr., Ohio Wesleyan

Hilbert intercepted two passes, added a pass breakup, and made six tackles vs. Hiram. The first pick came at the OWU 9-yard line, which he returned 20 yards to set up OWU's drive for what proved to be the deciding touchdown. His second pick came in the end zone.

S Javon Walker
Jr., Olivet

Walker recorded 10 tackles, six of them solo, in Olivet's 31-14 win at Albion. His interception helped set up an Olivet scoring drive in the first quarter.

CB Obi Etuka
Sr., Western New England

Etuka picked off two passes in the Golden Bears' 37-0 win over MIT on Saturday, breaking the program record for career interceptions with his 17th and 18th. Etuka and the WNEU defense limited the Engineers to just seven first downs. 

Special teams

K Matthew Murphy, Jr.
SUNY-Maritime

Murphy kicked four field goals and was a perfect 4-for-4 on extra points as the Privateers defeated Becker 40-13. He converted on two 45-yard field goals, and also drilled field goals from 33 and 27 yards out. 

P Christian Arias, Jr.
Shenandoah

Arias punted four times for a 53.0-yard average, placing two of his punts inside the 20 in a 34-10 win at Bridgewater. His 63-yard punt pinned the Eagles at their 3 and helped lead to a pick-six. He also ran for 5 yards to convert a fake punt.

RET Alex Bell, Jr.
Hardin-Simmons

Bell returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown, his second consecutive week with a score on a kickoff return, as the Cowboys topped Howard Payne 54-15.

ST James Ferraro, Sr.
La Verne

Ferraro blocked two field goals, the last one on the final play of the game to preserve the Leopards' slim 57-56 margin of victory vs. Occidental.
