Offense

 QB Justice Spriggs, So., Hamline

Justice set two school records in the Pipers' 42-40 win vs. Gustavus Adolphus. He completed 29 of 41 passes for a school-record 475 yards and a school-record six touchdowns in the win. The last of the touchdowns came with 1:35 to play to give HU the win. Hamline is off to its first 3-0 start since the 1988 season.

OL Jared Lincoln, Brooks Billings, Max Cassidy, Zach Tuttle, Trent Middleton, Hendrix

The Hendrix offensive line helped the Warriors set school records with 9.1 yards per play and 7.3 yards per rush in a 42-14 win at Millsaps. The senior starting five is one of four offensive lines that have not allowed a sack all season.

RB Trevor Heitland
Sr., Coe

Heitland rushed for a career-high 173 yards on just 19 carries, averaging 9.1 yards per carry, while adding three catches for 25 yards. He scored two TDs in a win vs. Nebraska Wesleyan.

RB Austin Smestad
Sr., Washington U.

Smestad ran for a career-high 169 yards on 19 carries with three second-half TDs in a 36-21 win at Birmingham-Southern. Wash U rallied from a 21-0 deficit.

WR Sam Markham
Sr., Central

Markham broke his school record for the second time with 15 catches against Loras in a 42-34 win. His 201 yards was just the fourth time a Central player recorded a 200-plus yard receiving game. He scored twice in the win.

WR Riley Bell
Jr., Cornell

Bell capped a career day with a 70-yard touchdown grab with 1:26 remaining to propel the Rams to a 46-41 comeback win at Beloit. His 201 receiving yards rank fourth-best on Cornell's single-game list. Bell caught 11 passes with two TDs.

TE Mitch Gallagher
Sr., St. Lawrence

Gallgher had 11 catches for 85 yards in St. Lawrence's win vs. RPI, breaking the school mark for catches in a career in the process.

Defense

DE Joshua Rivers
Fr., Alfred

Rivers had five tackles (all solo) in Alfred's 20-6 win vs. visiting Ithaca. He had four tackles for loss (33 yards), including three sacks that netted a loss of 29 yards, as AU held Ithaca to 169 yards of offense, including minus-4 on the ground.

DT Scott Rapps
Sr., Ohio Northern

Rapps had a team-high nine tackles, five tackles for loss, and scored ONU's only TD in a 16-10 win at Otterbein. He forced a fumble and recorded two of them, one of them in the end zone. The other recovery sealed the game with 1:30 left.

DE Bobby Noble
Sr., Westminster (Pa.)

Noble led the Titan defense with eight tackles, including two and a half tackles for a loss, one and a half sacks in Westminster's 38-9 win over Bethany.

 

LB Claude Richardson
Sr., McDaniel

Richardson recorded 12 tackles, seven solo, in a 30-27 win vs. Ursinus. He also picked off a tipped pass in the final minute to set up the game-winning field goal.

LB Kim Ornis
Jr., St. Vincent

Making his first start of the season, Ornis racked up a team-high 15 tackles, 13 solo. He also picked up five tackles for loss and two sacks in a 57-32 win vs. Grove City.

LB Cody Chapman
Sr., Maine Maritime

Chapman anchored the Mariners in a 30-13 loss to MIT, with a career-high 17 tackles, including six solo and five for a loss of 13 total yards. Chapman also forced a fumble. 

LB Dustin Holmes
Sr., Wittenberg

Holmes racked up 22 tackles, nine of them solo, also with a tackle for loss and a forced fumble in a 24-14 win vs. Wabash.

 

CB Trevor Smith
So., Central

Smith led the Dutch with nine solo tackles as a part of his career-best 13-tackle performance. He had a pass break up and a fourth-quarter interception in Duhawk territory that led to Central's go-ahead score in the 42-34 victory.

S Jack Toner
Sr., Johns Hopkins

Toner posted five tackles, all solo, and two interceptions in Johns Hopkins' 30-24 win at Muhlenberg. Toner's two interceptions both came in the end zone and both came in the final minute of the game.

S Kenneth Jinkins
Jr., St. Scholastica

Jinkins intercepted two Crown passes, including one 41 yards for a touchdown in a win vs. the Storm. He also returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown and registered seven tackles, one solo.

CB Mark DelPrete
Sr., Cortland

DelPrete returned an interception 23 yards for a TD in Cortland's loss at Utica. He also broke up three passes and made three tackles, including one and a half for loss.

Special teams

K Spencer Wiersberg, Jr.
McDaniel

Wiersberg was 3-for-3 in field-goal attempts. He converted from 26 and 25 yards before hitting a career-long 43-yarder as time expired to snap the Green Terror's 22-game losing streak. He also hit all three extra-point attempts.

P Austen Lauricella, Jr.
St. Lawrence

Lauricella had just two punts on the day, and only averaged 37.5 yards on them, but that was the maximum possible yardage, as he placed each of the two punts on the 1-yard line in a 20-14 win vs. RPI. RPI went three-and-out each time.

RET Kyle Anenson, Sr.
Northwestern (Minn.)

Anenson started off the Homecoming game in style, taking the opening kickoff 85 yards to the house to give the Eagles an early advantage in a 38-20 win vs. Martin Luther.

ST Jaquan Hicks, Fr.
Thiel

Hicks scored a touchdown on a muffed punt snap by Geneva and forced and recovered a fumble on special teams.
