Offense

QB Brett Elliott, Jr., Linfield
Elliott completed 77% of his passes and threw for five touchdowns, the third consecutive game he'd thrown at least five. He was 27-for-35 for 410 yards in the 40-21 win at Pacific Lutheran.

OL Jake Russell, Matt Merrow, Doug Ingraham, Dave Hansen, Shawn Herrmann, RPI
The line blocked for two 100-yard rushers as the Engineers gained a season-high 333 yards on the ground in a 28-17 win against Coast Guard. Jay Bernardo had 220 yards and Otis Williams had 111, while the quarterback was not sacked in 25 pass attempts.

RB Steve Cook, Jr., Delaware Valley
Cook had 201 yards and four touchdowns on just 13 carries in a 55-14 rout of Lebanon Valley. Even after his 86-yard touchdown run, he still averaged 9.6 yards on the other 12 runs.

RB Denny Kimmel, So., Anderson
Kimmel set Anderson's single-game rushing record with 248 yards on 38 carries, scoring five touchdowns in a 45-43 win against Franklin.

WR Dexter Falgoust, So., Louisiana College
Falgoust had 11 catches for 119 yards and a score. He caught LC's first touchdown of the game, but his biggest contributions came on the last drive of the game. Falgoust caught a 19-yard pass on fourth-and-10 to keep the drive alive. Two plays later, Falgoust made an acrobatic 21-yard catch as he was going out of bounds to put LC at first and goal on the McMurry 9-yard line in a 38-35 win.

WR Jesse Schmidt, Jr., Buena Vista
Schmidt had eight catches for 134 yards and three touchdowns in a 26-21 win against Loras. He also forced a fumble.

WR Andy Passanante, Sr., Concordia-Moorhead 
Passananate caught 13 passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns, each of which tied the game, a game which Concordia-Moorhead rallied to win against Gustavus Adolphus 42-27.

Defense

DL Brandon Clum, Sr., Muskingum
Clum had 12 tackles (five solo) and a sack and scored the team's only touchdown in a 14-7 loss to Baldwin-Wallace, returning a fumble 62 yards for the score.

DL Mike Sirignano, So., Bridgewater State
Sirignano had nine tackles (five solo), two for loss and a sack in a 28-21 loss to Fitchburg State. He also broke up a pass.

DL Ricky Vesce, Sr., William Paterson
Vesce had a team-high 10 tackles, forced two fumbles and recovered won to stop a potential game-winning drive as William Paterson snapped a 22-game NJAC losing streak with a 22-18 win against Kean. WPU forced six turnovers and limited Kean to minus-21 yards rushing on 18 second-half carries.

DL Evan Watson, So., Wooster
Watson had eight tackles (five solo), three and a half for loss and one sack in his first significant playing time of the season in a 35-13 win against Allegheny.

LB Scott Barriger, Sr., Alma
Barriger led the Alma defense and held the Comets, who entered the day averaging more than 500 yards rushing, to 284 yards on 71 carries. He had a game-high 22 tackles, 18 solo and two and a half for loss in the win.

LB Jeremy Vanisacker, Sr., Kalamazoo
Vanisacker also had 22 tackles, 18 solo. He had five and a half tackles for loss and recovered a fumble in a 29-16 loss to Hope.

LB Mike Guerra, So., Shenandoah
Guerra had a game-high nine tackles (seven solo) and two for loss in a 14-10 win against No. 19 Christopher Newport.

DB Adrian Herndon, Jr., Bridgewater (Va.)
Herndon picked off two Hampden-Sydney passes, the first two interceptions all season of J.D. Ricca, who came in leading D-III in pass efficiency. He finished with eight tackles (six solo), a pass broken up and two tackles for loss, not including a stop on a two-point conversion attempt.

DB Robbie Parry, Jr., Aurora
Parry had six tackles and broke up five passes, but his biggest play was a 100-yard interception return for a touchdown to seal a 24-7 win against Concordia (Wis.), a 2003 playoff team.

DB Ross Trimmer, Jr., Grove City
Trimmer intercepted two Bethany passes and returned one 100 yards for a touchdown. He finished with 133 yards on interception returns and eight tackles (seven solo).

DB Steve Teeples, So., UW-La Crosse
Teeples recorded seven tackles, all solo, broke up four passes and intercepted three more in a 35-14 win against UW-Stevens Point. He also forced and recovered a fumble.

Special teams

K James Thurnes, So., Averett
Trailing Ferrum 31-28 in the first overtime, Thurnes hit a 40-yard field goal to force a second overtime in an eventual 46-44 triple-overtime win. He also made all five of his extra-point attempts. As punter, he pinned Ferrum inside its 10 on four occasions, and inside the 3-yard line three times.

P Dan Eggertsson, Sr., Franklin and Marshall
Eggertsson dominated Muhlenberg, punting 11 times for 471 yards, an average of 42.8 yards with a long of 62 yards and four punts inside the 20 yard line. Overall, he had punts of 62, 39, 35, 42, 34, 38, 35, 61, 41, 42 and 42 yards (in order) and tacked on a 38-yard field goal to aid in a 15-10 win against Muhlenberg.

RET Nick Toboy, Jr., Kalamazoo
Toboy returned a kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown and returned a botched Hope extra-point attempt for a defensive two-point conversion in a 29-16 loss to Hope. He had two other kickoff returns for 62 yards.

ST Anthony Morris, Sr., Averett
Morris blocked a 31-yard field goal attempt by Ferrum at the end of the first half, then intercepted Ferrum's two-point conversion pass in the third overtime, setting up Averett's win in the third extra frame.
