Points were a dime a dozen, sometimes several dozen, in Division III play on Saturday. This is the wrapup for teams outside the Top 25 teams in Week 10.

Muskingum outscored Wilmington 22-7 over the final 6:51 of the game to erase a 14-point deficit and come out on top in a wild 64-63 game. Wilmington had gone on top 56-42 on a 24-yard touchdown pass from Derek Larimer to Lathan Jones with 8:24 remaining. The Muskies (4-5) responded with a 75-yard drive that took just 93 seconds, and recovered the onside kick, scoring again just 13 seconds later to tie the game at 56. Wilmington (3-6) still had some fight left, as Larimer took his team on a seven-play drive that included plays of 31,10, and 14 yards, before Larimer found Saa'lih Muhammed for 32 yards and his eye-popping ninth touchdown pass of the game. This gave the Quakers a 63-56 advantage with 4:30 remaining. But Muskingum answered again, as quarterback Doug Crawford ran it in from 18 yards out with 2:28 left. Crucially, the Muskies went for two and converted, taking a 64-63 lead, and Darrian Morris sealed the game with an interception near midfield with 1:33 left. Larimer threw for 482 yards and the nine touchdowns for the Quakers, while Crawford went for a school-record 511 yards and five scores.

Basketball season tips off this week, but Rose-Hulman and Defiance already looked to be in midseason form as the Fightin' Engineers defeated Defiance 78-54. Grant Ripperda ran 38 times for 226 yards and five touchdowns in the win, outdoing Defiance quarterback Jordan Ambrose, who ran for four touchdowns and three for three more. Rose-Hulman remains unbeaten in the HCAC headed into next week's showdown with Mount St. Joseph for the conference title.

Destin Chance threw eight touchdown passes for Illinois College, the last of them with 6:11 remaining in the game as Illinois College blew past Cornell College 76-34. The Blueboys were on top 35-7 at the end of one quarter and 49-7 before the game was 20 minutes old as they improved to 8-1, 7-1 in the Midwest Conference. Collin Brunstein, Cameron Lewis and Grant Stegman each caught nine passes and combined for the eight TDs as IC remained in control in the MWC race. The Blueboys finish off their regular season next week at Beloit; they are tied for first in the conference, but have already beaten Monmouth, the conference's co-leader. Lake Forest fell out of the tie for first on Saturday as Monmouth beat the Foresters, 16-14.

Loras had three quarterbacks combine for 27-for-31 passing for 536 yards as the Duhawks rolled past Simpson 82-16. The Storm had trailed just 21-14 before Loras scored the next 61 points. Simpson managed to salvage two points on a blocked extra point return after Drew Randl caught his second TD pass of the day with 3:40 to play in the game. Evan England threw six touchdowns and ran for two more, racking up 498 yards of total offense. Loras improved to 5-4, while Simpson fell to 3-6.

Melik Frost scored on a 4-yard touchdown run in overtime, and sophomore kicker Elijah Swett added the decisive PAT, before sophomore cornerback James Townsend blocked the potential game-tying PAT kick in OT as Hampden-Sydney took a thrilling 26-25 win against Shenandoah on Fulton Field at Lewis C. Everett Stadium. Frost rushed for a season and game-high of 110 yards and two touchdowns, while senior quarterback Andrew Puccinelli passed for 252 yards and one touchdown, as the host Tigers (6-3, 4-2 ODAC) won their home finale for retiring 24th-year head coach Marty Favret (151-89) against the visiting Hornets (5-4, 3-3).

Bethel and Gustavus Adolphus clinched their spots in the MIAC Championship Game. Bethel did so by defeating Concordia-Moorhead 31-14, while Gustavus downed Carleton 38-20 on the road. Joey Kidder caught seven passes for 101 yards and a touchdown, and threw a touchdown pass as well for the Royals, as he hit Micah Niewald for a 33-yard scored on Bethel's first drive of the third quarter. Gustavus quarterback George Sandven connected with Jake Breitbach 12 times for 227 yards and three touchdowns in the Gusties' win in Northfield, Minnesota. Gustavus and Bethel will meet next Saturday at Bethel.

Three first-quarter scores proved to be the deciding factor in Washington and Lee's 31-21 win over Bridgewater, a game between two teams listed in the NCAA's alphabetical regional ranking release. With the win, the Generals claim sole possession of second place in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, making them eligible to host one of the Chesapeake Bay Challenge Bowl games against a Landmark Conference opponent the week after the regular season. Stephen Murrin completed eight of his 11 passes for a career-high 191 yards and a touchdown in the victory.

Hope twice rallied from a two-score deficit, as the Flying Dutchmen came back to defeat Trine, 38-28. It was the third time the Flying Dutchmen had come back from a double-digit deficit to win this season. Hope finished its MIAA slate at 8-2 overall, 5-1 in the conference. Trailing 14-3 and 21-10, Ben Wellman hit Terrell Harris on a wheel route for a 38-yard touchdown with 50 seconds left in the first half, and then on the next play, Cole Luhmann intercepted a Trine pass and returned it into Trine territory. Four plays later, Wellman hit Grant Holtzer for a TD pass and Hope went to the locker room up 24-21.

Montclair State kept Christopher Newport from clinching the New Jersey Athletic Conference title, as the Red Hawks won at CNU by a 19-14 score. The loss snapped an eight-game home winning streak for the Captains (6-3, 4-1) and leaves them in a position of having to win at TCNJ on Friday night in order to clinch a playoff bid in Paul Crowley's second season. Montclair State (5-4, 4-2) is done with NJAC play, but TCNJ could make things a mess if the Lions (5-4, 3-2) defeat CNU, while Salisbury (vs. Kean) and Rowan (vs. William Paterson) could each finish 4-2 in NJAC play as well.
