We're going big here. There are alternate ways to plan out this week if you want to go home. Make sure you have an extra driver once again. Although, this first leg isn't as bad as it sounds. We start with Maryville at East Tennessee State. Normally we don't recommend games with non-Division III opponents but this is our only Thursday night game in Week 2 and it does give us a launching off point. From Tennessee to northeast Pennsylvania is actually only a little over eight hours to pick up Delaware Valley at Wilkes. Wilkes plays on Friday night in Week 1 as well, if that interests you. Wilkes has struggled in recent years but Del Val lost its biggest playmakers on offense, so this could be an interesting game. Get ready for your crazy Saturday, because you have a seven-hour drive to get to Ada, Ohio, to see Utica at Ohio Northern in a noon kickoff. This is what we mean by going big! Get there to see what Ohio Northern has this year in its only non-conference game. I mean, Utica traveled 530 miles miles to get to this game, so why can't you make the trip as well? From here you're headed even further west to see Carroll at Benedictine. You're lucky that Benedictine is in the Central Time Zone because you'll need that extra hour. If Utica and ONU are done by 3 p.m. ET, you then have a four and a half hour drive ahead of you to get to Benedictine by 7 p.m. CT.

Alright, so, there are lots of options. It's certainly a shorter trip to get to Saturday night games at Allegheny or Bethany and it's a much shorter trip to see DePauw at Earlham on Saturday, but Earlham enters the season with 13 consecutive losses and DePauw should be able to handle the Quakers.
